Ship Spotlight: Carnival Jubilee

The newest ship in the Carnival fleet, the Carnival Jubilee, debuted at the end of 2023. So what’s new onboard this latest innovation from the long-running cruise line?

First and foremost, you’ll find two brand new onboard areas, or “zones”: “Currents” and “The Shores”. Carnival’s “zones” are areas themed to transform your vacation into a unique mix of experiences.

Currents transports guests to underwater worlds with the help of LEDs and sound design, including an on-theme bar with an octopus as its main character called Dr. Inks (see what they did there?). As for The Shores, this experience on deck 8 boasts a boardwalk feel, inspired by seaside piers and beaches.

Plus, you’ll find BOLT: the fasted – and first! – rollercoaster at sea. Do you dare take a spin on this all-electric thrill ride that puts the power of speed in your hands? Below BOLT, you’ll find the biggest-yet Carnival Waterworks, with three huge spiraling slides.
